Vinyasa Flow
Gharam Yoga
Jeanelle Boyer began her yoga practice in 1998 in Ithaca, NY. Since that time, yoga has become one of the greatest gifts in her life, and she is very excited to share the gift of yoga with others. In 2005, she received her level 1 teaching certificate from YogaFit, and recently, she completed her 200-hour teaching certification during an intensive month-long yoga teacher training at the Kripalu Center in Lenox, MA. The Kripalu experience was truly life-changing and deepened her practice greatly. In her classes, Jeanelle combines the compassion of Kripalu yoga with the sweeping movements of vinyasa, emphasizing body and breath awareness to draw attention to the beautiful interplay between the body, mind and spirit.
In addition to teaching yoga, Jeanelle teaches classes in the biological sciences and health sciences at Kirkwood Community College. She has a Ph.D. in a nutrition-related field, and is truly passionate about helping others live a more full, balanced and joyful life by taking care of the physical body, as well as the mind and spirit. Other interests include horseback riding, triathlons, adventure racing and doing just about anything outdoors! Shanti, peace.
